  hi - looks like an interesting place!.

  i was in the jw's till about 1999 in perth.

  i sort of thought the advice "never complain and never explain" was appropriate, so i just stopped going to the kh!

  It does seem like this question would give much for a Witness to think about other than the initial shock of being asked. It is not something that would make them question the WTBTS after they leave the door.

  1914 question

  put aside all of the 607 b.c.e., there is another question that i'm not familiar with and mabyee some of you know what there explanation is, or if they don't even address the issue.

  we are all familiar with the account in daniel chapter five, and nebuchadnezzars dream about the tree.

  The WTBTS is very slick at moving from a quick comment to using it as truth.

  I always thought it was strange how they say that nothing significant happened at the time of Nebuchadnezzar, so their for this is the bases for the 1914 date and their authority.

  my family and i stopped being active witnesses some 3 and a half years ago.

  we did the fade thing, thus we are neither das nor df.

  before we stopped, i served as an elder.

  Jesus had a Twin Proof!!!

  judas thomas is known to the world as jesus brother.

  most all bible scholars have no problem with this, what is of interest to me is a matter of controversy the translation of didymos used before his name in the greek manuscripts didymos literally translates into english as twin.

  if you take the bible as the true gospel of gods hand then jesus had a twin brother.

  I can show you just as many post here is one for exsample. ; http://www.rense.com/general66/hide.htm ;What you have to ask yourself does the person have something he is trying to protect? One must be completly open mind with no bias.

  They may be protecting or they may be trying to prove something for their own self gain. Most of the posters here are fimiliar with WTBS quoting and/or misrepresenting references for their self gain.

  the grand canyon actually disprove creationist because granit rock is the toughest of rocks found on earth.

  the grand canyon has areas filled only with granit rock.
